Northern Oregon

After traveling around the northwest for 8 installments, I was back in Central WA to help George move back down to CA. We decided to take a new route than before and after crossing into Oregon at Biggs Junction on the Columbia, we headed west along HWY 84, the very northern border of Oregon. Along this route we got to see The Dalles, Bonneville Dam, and Multnomah Falls. After eating some fancy vegetarian ramen in Portland, we passed by Mt. Hood and journeyed south from there into CA. Oregon is much greener and grayer than WA! A little dreary for me but I enjoyed the lush yet cold feel of it all.

I’m glad to have George back in CA! It is sad to say goodbye to Washington, but I’m looking forward to having non-northwest adventures too.
